HYDRAULIC POWER PACK

The function of the Hydraulic Power Pack

A Hydraulic Power Pack is used to generate hydraulic energy starting from the mechanical energy supplied, generally, by electric motors.

Hydraulic energy, through the circuit of which the Hydraulic Power Pack is part, allows to operate those hydraulic components, such as Cylinders for linear motion and Motors for rotary motion, allowing them to carry out the work for which they were designed.

The components of the Hydraulic Power Pack

Leaving aside the components that are in the hydraulic circuit but external to the Hydraulic Power Pack, the main ones are the following:
  • Electric motor
  • Central manifold in die-cast aluminum
  • Motor-central manifold coupling components: flanges and joints
  • Gear pump
  • Suction components: pipes, filter
  • Tank
Various parts can be placed in the central body depending on the characteristics of the circuit:
  • Maximum pressure valves
  • Non-return valves
  • Flow regulators
  • Cartridge solenoid valves
  • Emergency manual pumps
  • Etc.
Downstream of the manifold, thanks to the CETOP3 modular elements, the circuit can be enriched with numerous other elements:
  • Directional solenoid valves
  • Flow control valves
  • Manually controlled directional valves
  • Accumulators
  • Pressure switches
  • Etc.

Fields of application

Thanks to their compactness, typical applications of Hydraulic Power Packs are:
  • Car lifters
  • Lifting platforms
  • Dump Trucks
  • Tail lifts
  • Dock levelers
  • Sectional industrial doors
  • Tyre changers
  • Presses
  • Log splitters
  • Bandsaw machines
  • CNC Machines
  • Hydraulic cranes
  • Bending machines
  • Parking systems
  • Lighting towers
  • Hydraulic gangways
  • Glass making machines
  • Stone processing machines
  • Uncoilers and recoilers
  • Snow blades
Nexoil designs and manufactures its own Hydraulic Power Packs, studying customized solutions to best meet every application need.
